Where things stand

CompanyShapeOS is early software from a small team, actively developed and serving a small number of customers. We think that’s worth saying plainly at the top rather than burying: features change, and you should judge the product on what it does today.

Your account

You’re responsible for the accounts you create and the people you invite, for keeping credentials secure, and for what your team does in the platform. Tell us promptly if you think an account has been compromised.

You must be authorised to act for the business you set up, and old enough to enter a contract where you live.

Your data is yours

You keep all rights to the data you put into the platform. We use it to provide the service to you, as described in our privacy policy, and for nothing else. We don’t sell it and we don’t use it to train models.

You can export your data or ask us to delete it. If you close your account, we’ll give you a reasonable window to get a copy before removal.

What you agree not to do

Don’t use the platform to break the law, store data you have no right to store, attack or probe the service, work around access controls or usage limits, or resell access without an agreement with us.

You’re responsible for having the right to hold information about your own customers, staff and contacts, and for what you choose to share with them through the platform.

Sharing outside your company

The platform lets you give clients, owners, vendors and others a view of specific information. You decide what those people can see. Check your settings before inviting someone — we can’t know which information you consider sensitive.

Assistive features

The platform can answer questions, draft content, and propose changes based on your data. Output can be wrong. Review it before you rely on it, especially for anything financial, legal, or contractual — and particularly before sending anything to a customer.

Actions that change your data are proposed for your approval unless you have explicitly enabled them to run automatically. Usage of these features may be metered against your plan.

Payment

Paid plans are billed in advance on the cycle shown at pricing. Usage beyond what your plan includes may be charged separately and will be shown to you. If we change prices, we’ll tell you before the change applies to you.

You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. We don’t generally give partial refunds, but if something has gone genuinely wrong, email us and we’ll sort it out.

Availability

We work to keep the service running and to keep your data safe and backed up, but we don’t currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee. If that matters to your business, talk to us before signing up rather than after.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or that puts the service or other customers at risk — we’ll tell you why, and except in serious cases we’ll give you a chance to put it right first.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially, we’ll tell you before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
